This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for acquiring and validating essential documentation needed for underwriting the loan file.

• Engage directly with customers and/or Loan Officers to gather necessary documentation for final loan approval.

• Collaborate with dedicated branches at CrossCountry Mortgage.

• Oversee a pipeline of 40 active loans and ensure a minimum of 27 units are funded each month.

• Confirm that vendor orders are completed and returned, and that invoices are received and documented.

• Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the borrower’s credit, income, and assets in accordance with the loan program before submitting the file to underwriting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with RESPA guidelines, all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, as well as Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents.

• Prior experience with Encompass software.

• Exceptional math and analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows operating systems.
