Senior Corporate Counsel, Commercial – Privacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate deals, including the drafting and negotiation of enterprise-level business development and commercial contracts.

• Take ownership of the privacy aspects associated with every deal.

• Lead the development of AI and data licensing agreements.

• Offer strategic commercial counsel by leveraging extensive commercial expertise.

• Facilitate business growth by effectively balancing speed with risk.

• Engage in proactive deal management and demonstrate a strong self-driven approach.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active state bar membership in good standing.

• Over 8 years of experience as an attorney (in-house counsel experience is highly advantageous).

• Proven success in navigating complex technology transactions and high-level business development.

• In-depth applied privacy expertise, with practical experience in privacy and data protection regulations.

• Comprehensive understanding of SaaS contract law and intellectual property law.

• Sufficient technical literacy to identify risks.

• Exceptional negotiation skills (beyond mere document review).

• Strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and experience in successful cross-functional collaboration.
