Senior Coordinator, Quality Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducts Quality Control (QC) activities on intricate IRB and staff documentation to ensure precision compared to primary sources and compliance with relevant quality control standards, federal regulations, and timelines.

• Reviews and rigorously evaluates documents for accuracy in content for assigned submission types.

• Provides clear and constructive feedback to inform Research Services staff about any missing and/or incomplete elements.

• Achieves daily workload objectives with flexibility and adaptability.

• Implements procedures in accordance with internal quality standards and external regulations.

• Demonstrates QC best practices through peer-to-peer training and mentorship.

• Engages in team and departmental professional and personal development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Intermediate understanding of Federal laws and guidelines regarding Human Subjects Research Protection.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in IRB, clinical research, or quality control.

• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Familiar with PowerPoint, direct messaging applications such as Slack, remote meeting tools like Zoom, and web-based proprietary software.

• Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or eligibility for certification within one (1) year is preferred.
