This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Provide extensive fundraising and operational assistance to multi-million-dollar individual, corporate, and event portfolios, along with their respective teams.
• Offer temporary remote support and/or designated portfolio assistance during staff absences and peak workload times.
• Collaborate with event managers and development leadership to provide fundraising and event execution aid.
• Assist with planning, timelines, logistics, and high-impact opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with participants, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and vendors.
• Oversee operational systems and workflow execution, including task and reminder systems, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Identify challenges, propose solutions, and ensure follow-through to enhance revenue growth and operational excellence.
• Process donations and payments, monitor expenses, assist with reclassifications, and ensure adherence to internal policies and controls.
• Maintain constituent and customer relationship data in relevant platforms.
• Generate reports and insights that support revenue performance, prospecting, engagement, and team decisions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in assigned tools, platforms, and fundraising initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, develop or amend materials, and contribute to training sessions, workgroups, or projects.
• Support committees, boards, volunteer recruitment and communications, scheduling, recognition, and stewardship efforts.
• Potentially assist with executive volunteer engagement and other leadership-related needs.
• Potentially mentor and onboard new coordinators.
• Associate degree preferred or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in event support, fundraising operations, or similar business/administrative support roles.
• 5+ years and/or proven advanced/lead experience may be preferred for lead-level responsibilities and mentoring roles.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to partner and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to identify needs/issues, define problems, evaluate options, and implement practical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing portfolios, teams, priorities, and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill in interpreting and implementing policies and procedures with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to learn and utilize internal platforms and data systems, including Salesforce/CRM, reporting tools, procurement/contract tools, and auction/event tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to area meetings and events, including some evenings and weekends.
