This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Cultivate Relationships: Establish and foster enduring strategic partnerships with building owners, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Oversee a designated account portfolio, pinpointing high-potential prospects and steering business development initiatives to promote regional expansion.
• Brand Representation: Act as the company's representative at trade shows and industry events to enhance visibility and shape market perception.
• Consultative Selling: Analyze Client Needs: Conduct in-depth assessments of client requirements to identify inefficiencies in building systems.
• Influence Design Decisions: Engage early in the process to affect specifications and system design choices, ensuring our solutions are incorporated from the project's inception.
• Lead Bid Initiatives: Discover bidding opportunities, craft detailed responses, and spearhead negotiations to secure new contracts.
• Collaborative Execution: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Service teams to guarantee technical feasibility and customer satisfaction.
• Smooth Transitions: Take charge of the handover from "sale" to "execution," ensuring the operations team is prepared for success and the customer experience remains seamless.
• Maintain Sales Momentum: Propel the sales cycle through diligent follow-up and proactive communication.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC/BAS Controls sector.
• At least 3 years of sales experience within the HVAC/BAS Controls industry.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid and current Driver’s License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in sales within the BAS/HVAC Controls or pharmaceutical sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and ability to encourage their use among team members is preferred.
• Previous leadership experience with the capability to inspire and motivate diverse teams is preferred.
• Proficient in delivering persuasive presentations to prospective customers.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills are preferred.
• Background in analyzing market and company data to formulate business strategies is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 360 applications is preferred.
