Senior Controller – Business & Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You create structured analyses of contribution margins and continuously improve them.

• You evaluate profitability across channels (D2C, Amazon, Retail), countries, and products, highlighting actionable differences.

• You pinpoint growth drivers and margin risks, providing specific recommendations for action.

• You assist in pricing and marketing efficiency analyses, delivering data-driven insights to the business.

• You establish management KPI frameworks that are clear, consistent, and aligned with our growth objectives.

• You design dashboards and reports that are user-friendly and accessible to all stakeholders.

• You maintain and enhance our performance reporting structures, ensuring data consistency and quality.

• You collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales, gaining an understanding of their business needs and communicating effectively.

• You support campaigns, product launches, and channel decisions with accurate data and analyses.

• You prepare decision documents for management that are precise, comprehensible, and action-oriented.

• You bridge Finance with the business, ensuring that numbers are not just reported but leveraged to create value.

• You actively participate in the evolution of our controlling processes and BI tools.

• You contribute to the fast-close initiative, facilitating quicker access to performance metrics.

• You play a role in shaping and contributing to our finance project roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a completed (Master's) degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related discipline.

• You have several years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or Performance Controlling, preferably within an e-commerce or high-growth setting.

• You demonstrate strong expertise in contribution-margin analysis and profitability management.

• You have experience collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams.

• MUST-have: You are skilled in Excel for structured data preparation.

• You have experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• You are proficient in German at C1 level and in English at B2 level.
