This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Supervise all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger operations.

• Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure timely and precise financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Assess financial performance and deliver analysis on key trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Provide leadership with financial insights to enhance strategic decision-making.

• Direct the annual budgeting process and continuous financial forecasting activities.

• Compare actual results against the budget and conduct variance analysis.

• Create financial models to facilitate business planning and growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with department leaders to enhance budget accountability and financial performance.

• Guarantee adherence to tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and corporate policies.

• Design, implement, and uphold robust internal controls and financial processes.

• Coordinate external audits while managing relationships with auditors, accountants, and regulatory entities.

• Identify and alleviate financial and operational risks.

• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital needs.

• Manage relationships with banks and financial service providers.

• Develop strategies to enhance cash management and financial efficiency.

• Ensure prompt collection of receivables and effective management of payables.

• Spot opportunities to refine financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.

• Utilize ERP and financial systems to boost efficiency and visibility.

• Assist in system implementations, integrations, and process automation initiatives.

• Establish scalable financial practices to support organizational growth.

• Offer guidance and support to accounting and finance team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• CA designation is preferred.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including leadership roles.

• Background as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or a similar senior finance position.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

• Experience managing payroll, tax compliance, and month-end/year-end closing processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

• Ability to clearly communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working in a remote setting.

• Experience in professional services, technology, consulting, or ERP-related organizations is an asset.
