This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• The Senior Contract Manager is essential to our success by fostering, managing, and sustaining robust relationships with business teams while creating client and vendor contracts for those teams.
• This role includes responsibilities such as negotiating, closing, extending, and renewing contracts, along with communicating contractual modifications and their implications to all stakeholders involved.
• The position entails reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all commercial agreements between the business and its clients and vendors. This includes master services agreements, consulting agreements, independent contractor agreements, confidentiality agreements, work orders, change orders, and other relevant contracts, escalating complex issues to the corporate legal team as needed.
• The Senior Contract Manager will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
• It is crucial to keep relevant leadership and business teams informed about the status of contract negotiations and their execution.
• This role involves coordinating the execution of agreements and monitoring expirations and other commitments.
• Assisting in the design and upkeep of contract files and databases is also part of the responsibilities.
• The Senior Contract Manager will aid in designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure timely contract execution.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and taking the initiative to implement them is encouraged.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
• A Post Secondary Degree or Certificate is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills are essential.
• A good sense of judgment combined with a proactive and independent working style is necessary.
• A proven track record of meeting deadlines across multiple projects is required.
• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally with team members at various levels within the organization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
• Must possess the ability to read, write, speak fluently, and comprehend the English language.
