This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee and direct the complete acquisition lifecycle activities, from initial planning to contract closure.
• Conduct price and cost assessments to analyze proposals and assist in negotiation strategies.
• Interpret and implement FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition regulations to ensure adherence.
• Offer expert advisory support to program offices regarding acquisition strategies and contract management.
• Engage in intricate problem-solving and fact-finding analysis to tackle procurement challenges.
• Create, review, and oversee contract documentation, solicitations, and modifications.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure acquisition efforts align with mission objectives.
• Aid in the execution of new acquisition initiatives, policies, and improvements in processes.
• Leverage acquisition systems and tools to manage procurement data and reporting.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related discipline.
• Possess at least 10 years of Federal procurement experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a Federal Government employee (1102 series or equivalent) and 5 additional years supporting Federal acquisitions in a similar capacity (Federal or contractor).
• Expertise in Federal and DoD acquisition regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and relevant policies, directives, and procedures.
• Strong background in price and cost analysis, including proposal evaluation, historical data assessment, and negotiation strategy development.
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex acquisition matters, performing detailed analysis, and executing effective resolution strategies.
• Proven experience in providing senior-level advisory support, including technical guidance, policy interpretation, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Hands-on experience with Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) and DoD Acquisition Systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills within a highly regulated Federal contracting environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of producing clear documentation and presenting complex information articulately.
