This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and enhance OpenUSD-based content workflows for reusable technical assets, overseeing everything from intake and packaging to validation, publishing, and lifecycle updates.
• Establish practical metadata, profile, and validation standards for infrastructure, simulation, and digital twin assets.
• Collaborate with engineering, program, content, and contributor teams to refine packaging, versioning, publishing, and asset readiness practices.
• Assist internal teams and external contributors in preparing, refining, and submitting assets into organized workflows.
• Influence how approved assets are displayed across catalogs, browsers, and search interfaces to ensure they are more accessible and reusable.
• Develop workflow guidelines, examples, and reusable technical content to facilitate repeatable and scalable participation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Media Production, Design Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in building, supporting, or enhancing production content pipelines, technical asset workflows, or digital twin content operations.
• In-depth knowledge of OpenUSD asset structure, composition, packaging, validation, and publishing methodologies.
• Capability to articulate clear metadata requirements, validation rules, asset profiles, and workflow standards suitable for contributors.
• Excellent technical writing skills, with a proven history of creating documentation, examples, or enablement materials for technical users.
• A collaborative mindset for addressing workflow challenges across engineering, content, program, partner, and contributor teams.
