This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Transform marketing and communication strategies into compelling written solutions that promote the growth and brand awareness of OhioHealth system.

• Craft on-brand copy tailored for diverse audiences, service areas, and communication channels.

• Create messaging for specific service lines and target audiences while ensuring consistency with overarching system messages.

• Act as the primary contact within the department for content-related matters.

• Edit content for marketing managers and ensure the copy aligns with the desired tone and voice.

• Suggest suitable writers for various projects.

• Oversee and evaluate external content resources, freelance writers, and marketing managers.

• Generate original content and refine materials for print, digital, and social media platforms.

• Manage personal workload effectively and adhere to daily project deadlines.

• Assist with regular content requests, including marketing materials and communication assets, ranging from quick turnaround items to conceptual campaigns.

• Partner with the digital team on intricate digital content projects.

• Keep style guide standards current and updated.

• Engage in project kick-off meetings and brainstorming sessions.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems for sharing brand assets.

• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and techniques in the field.

• Collaborate closely with the creative team, project managers, and external partners.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• A degree in advertising, journalism, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Seven to ten years of full-time writing experience in a corporate or agency environment.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating writing expertise.

• Exceptional writing and editing abilities.

• Proficiency in writing that adheres to corporate brand voice and tone standards.

• Experience in supervising and editing the work of other writers or project managers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Understanding of information hierarchy and organization.

• Strong critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Familiarity with writing for digital media channels.

• Excellent time management and conceptual thinking skills.

• Capability and readiness to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to foster relationships and present work effectively.
