Senior Consulting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to determine and allocate project resources for client engagements.

• Establish and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders that reflect partnership, cooperation, and trust.

• Engage in regular brainstorming and consultation meetings with GDC and onshore counterparts.

• Manage personal projects as necessary.

• Supervise multiple medium to large client projects concurrently, while maintaining oversight to identify risks, escalations, and resolve issues.

• Address and resolve escalations involving the project, client, or other internal organizations satisfactorily.

• Oversee resource planning and coordinate project activities between the client and necessary internal/external resources to achieve strategic business objectives.

• Guide staff in Agile methodologies and project management best practices to improve project delivery.

• Provide teams with a clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and growth plans through effective communication and management of work assignments, training, and performance evaluations.

• Lead various internal initiatives that produce significant results for the growth of the organization and its employees.

• Ensure that any bench time for consultants is utilized to enhance skills in accordance with Practice technology roadmaps.

• Monitor the alignment of program scope with strategic business goals.

• Gather feedback from Delivery Owners of engagements where GDC team members are involved.

• Conduct interviews for prospective GDC candidates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of proven client relationship skills and experience in setting and managing client expectations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at executive levels.

• Extensive experience in aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects in accordance with commitments.

• A solid commitment to collaborating with the GDC Leadership team.

• In-depth professional knowledge in internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.

• Capability to develop sound work plans and resolve competing priorities.

• Ability to manage up to 30 individuals and provide guidance on their career development.

• Passionate about developing and nurturing the next generation of leaders.

• Ability to maintain composure during challenging and critical situations.

• Demonstrated experience in Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.

• Experience collaborating with sales and solutioning stakeholders on staffing and timeline commitments to ensure alignment in expectations is a plus.
