This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more states.
β’ Act as a collaborative team member on customer projects with a focus on design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation.
β’ Perform research, benchmarking, performance testing, functional testing, reference architecture design, sizing, migration, integration, development, and tooling.
β’ Offer consultative support initiated by cases to strategic users, customers, and prospects regarding implementation, onboarding, production launches, and POCs.
β’ Deliver architectural, technical, and migration support, including hands-on tasks.
β’ Manage L1 to L3 support cases and communications when not engaged in customer projects.
β’ Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales on the product roadmap and account plans.
β’ Create public and internal documentation, Knowledge Base articles, ClickHouse Learning content, reference architectures, blogs, and benchmark results.
β’ Assist in the hiring and mentoring of new team members.
β’ Support scheduling and on-call requirements to ensure high-quality 24x7 support in a global, distributed environment.
β’ Travel onsite regionally, estimated at up to 35%.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, and/or Project Management roles.
β’ More than 5 years of relevant industry experience in implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed DBMS.
β’ Comprehensive technical knowledge in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, system or network administration, and big data.
β’ Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale technical projects with multiple experienced engineers.
β’ Proficiency with a public cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and its infrastructure-as-a-service offerings, including EC2.
β’ Strong communication skills and the ability to excel in a customer-facing role.
β’ Capacity to collaborate effectively with Support Services, Engineering, and Sales teams.
β’ Availability for scheduling and on-call needs for global 24x7 support.
β’ Willingness to travel onsite regionally, estimated at up to 35%.
β’ Familiarity with ClickHouse, OSS/open-source technologies, and data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ is a plus.
