
Senior Consultant – Workday Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Design, configure, test, and implement client business requirements within Workday Payroll modules.
• Facilitate client working sessions to gather, comprehend, and analyze business requirements.
• Evaluate client needs and offer recommendations or alternative solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute system enhancements.
• Support clients in testing Workday configurations, knowledge transfer, and documentation efforts.
• Troubleshoot processes, data, calculated fields, reports, business logic, and configurations.
• Implement solutions utilizing the company’s established methodology and processes.
• Collaborate effectively on team-oriented projects.
• Consult, execute, and prioritize conflicting demands from multiple concurrent clients.
• Share lessons learned, Workday best practices, and Kognitiv’s perspective with clients.
• Deliver completed work within specified timelines.
• Investigate issues, determine root causes, and propose or implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to the knowledge management repository through Q&A, documented deliverables, and Workday knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
• Achieve role-specific performance metrics, including utilization, service-level agreements, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Seek support, report on progress, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading and executing Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services, or working as a Workday client.
• Proficiency in configuring Workday Payroll and Security.
• Experience in developing Custom Reports, Dashboards, and Calculated Fields.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
• Strong consulting skills, including presenting to business partners, creating documentation and technical guides, engaging in workshops, and explaining solutions.
• Experience in implementing complex business solutions under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
• Proven track record of delivery excellence and a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to manage timelines, deadlines, and objectives.
• Initiative and curiosity to enhance skills in other areas within and beyond Workday.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.
• Capability to work within remote teams, alongside clients, and independently.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to meet travel requirements of less than 5% per year.
• Must possess work authorization in the employing country without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
