This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the field auditing, staff training, and client implementation activities within the Client Fund Accounting National Operations team.
• Provide daily guidance and oversight to Business Systems Analysts, field auditors, and the implementation manager.
• Allocate, distribute, and oversee work quality and output.
• Enhance staff development through performance management, goal setting, coaching, and employee relations.
• Supervise the field audit program and employer payroll audits.
• Examine audit findings and reports, communicating results to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage new-client implementations and system conversions for existing clients.
• Participate in implementation meetings as the CFA subject matter expert, offering programming guidance.
• Oversee CFA automation projects and suggest workflow enhancements.
• Create, maintain, distribute, and deliver training on systems, plan rules, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the CFA Operational Controller and Director to ensure current SOPs and compliance-oriented training.
• Identify gaps in business processes and recommend system or operational enhancements.
• Assist in the research and resolution of complex contribution, audit, and systems challenges.
• Review and authorize timecards and time-off requests, ensuring accurate labor allocations and payroll processing information.
• Sustain communication and professional relationships with management, staff, clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
• Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience in accounting, finance, payroll auditing, or benefits administration.
• At least two years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
• Understanding of third-party administrator operations and the implications of Taft-Hartley provisions.
• Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Exceptional customer service abilities and the capacity to communicate across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Preferred experience in a third-party administrator, insurance, or health and welfare setting.
• Prior experience in Taft-Hartley trust administration is preferred.
• Experience in client implementation, system conversion, or process improvement is preferred.
• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
