This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage complex, high-volume bi-weekly payrolls for designated business units and oversee off-cycle payroll items.

• Review HRIS payroll records and collaborate with HR Operations to rectify corrections and discrepancies.

• Facilitate the setup and processing of new hires, terminations, and leave of absence cases.

• Confirm timesheets in VantagePoint.

• Create import files and generate payroll reports utilizing Excel.

• Handle final wages, garnishment notices, inquiries from state agencies, bonus payrolls, manual checks, and tax adjustments.

• Compile and submit reports mandated by the state.

• Reconcile tax remittances, 401(k) files, payroll records, and W-2 forms.

• Register tax accounts at state or local levels and establish multi-state taxes.

• Offer payroll consultation and support to assigned business units.

• Prepare and record journal entries in Deltek VantagePoint.

• Assist in the integration of acquired business units into VantagePoint and compare data between VantagePoint and UKG.

• Ensure integrity of HRIS and payroll data while reviewing employee information.

• Assist with year-end financials, 401(k), and workers’ compensation insurance audits.

• Report directly to the Payroll Director.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with UKG Pro is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in processing multi-state payroll.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Certification as a Payroll Professional is preferred.

• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant payroll laws and regulations.

• Expertise in rules surrounding multi-state taxation, local taxes, and state income tax reciprocal agreements.

• Proficiency in UKG Pro.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Availability to work remotely on Pacific Standard Time.
