This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.
• Oversee the analysis of both primary and secondary data to extract valuable insights regarding access, pricing, and recommendations for our clients in the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical sectors across various US payer and stakeholder groups, utilizing both qualitative (e.g., IDIs, focus groups, advisory boards) and quantitative project methodologies.
• Assist team members by coordinating and guiding the efforts of junior staff, while effectively communicating as a collaborative partner to project managers and leadership.
• Develop and present client-ready materials, encompassing research documents, interim deliverables, and comprehensive project reports.
• Provide strategic thought leadership in evidence strategy, value assessment, market access, and pricing, both for client-related and non-client-related initiatives (e.g., external conferences).
• Train and mentor junior staff throughout projects, participate in internal training initiatives, and engage in formal and informal mentorship opportunities.
• Contribute to business development efforts (e.g., proposal drafting) as preparation for a future role as a business development lead.
• Enhance the growth of the EVAP function by participating in internal initiatives aimed at professional development, training, and resource allocation for consultants.
• Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic performance; a major in health sciences, Economics, or HEOR, along with a demonstrated interest in life sciences is advantageous.
• 3-4 years of experience as a top performer in a leading biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical strategy consulting firm, addressing key US business inquiries for industry-leading clients.
• Extensive understanding of the US healthcare system and pricing mechanisms, with a proven grasp of various payer and provider types (and their associated access nuances), as well as current trends in the US market.
• Familiarity with essential and advanced consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and numerical proficiency.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in utilizing PubMed/Medline, Google Scholar, and other research platforms to obtain reimbursement data.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Basic understanding of systematic review methods, clinical research design, and relevant standards and regulations governing clinical trials.
• High attention to detail paired with outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• A strong team player with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
