This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Consultant collaborates within a team of highly skilled Advisory consultants to enhance healthcare system performance.
• This role is primarily accountable for executing billable client work.
• The Senior Consultant actively leads and engages in various work streams throughout the engagement process.
• Key responsibilities encompass identifying client requirements based on the engagement statement of work; leading, completing, and ensuring the quality of data analyses; interpreting data findings to formulate initial recommendations and potential solutions; creating deliverables and presentation materials for diverse audiences; aiding in risk identification and mitigation; managing workstream economics and project oversight; and supporting the implementation of suggested improvements.
• The Senior Consultant is involved in every facet of an engagement, which includes identifying challenges; forming hypotheses; planning and executing interviews; overseeing and conducting analytics; developing actionable recommendations and solutions; synthesizing information into cohesive presentations for various audiences; and facilitating change implementation.
• The Senior Consultant will work in a collaborative team environment, contributing input and support to team deliverables and presentations during all project phases.
• Daily management of project activities, including overseeing workstream activities and project economic management, is also part of the Senior Consultant's responsibilities.
• Participation in Premier's internal initiatives, such as practice development, approved educational opportunities, and gaining familiarity with the various technologies offered to clients, is required.
• Additionally, the Senior Consultant should meet utilization targets for client billable projects while adding value through meaningful client interactions, data analytics, insights, and team involvement in client projects.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree (Required).
• Ability to coordinate and deliver impactful presentations (both verbal and written) to client audiences to convey project outcomes, recommendations, and strategies.
• Capability to conduct analyses and mentor others in the creation and delivery of client deliverables.
• Proven ability to engage effectively and collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Experience leading workgroups to achieve successful results.
• Background in Health Systems Finance, Operations (clinical, support, or operational), Operational or Strategic Consulting, Strategic Planning, or Decision Support Analytics.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex healthcare data sets and developing visualizations and presentations to support data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data validation and analysis.
• Familiarity with new methodology development and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Adaptability to quickly shift priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in operating computer programs and software.
• Effective communication skills with audiences in both face-to-face and electronic formats.
• Capacity to make independent decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative business environment, working closely with peers amidst varying interruptions.
