This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You provide guidance to clients as a collaborative partner in designing contemporary CMDB structures.

• Utilizing the CSDM 4.0/5.0 framework, you lay the essential data groundwork that IT organizations require to expand AI applications.

• You establish this foundation by guaranteeing thorough visibility of hybrid infrastructures.

• You develop Discovery strategies and utilize the IRE (Identification & Reconciliation Engine) to maintain a reliable and trustworthy single source of truth.

• You enhance data usability by executing Event Management.

• You convert the IT Operations Center from a reactive "alert flood" into an intelligent, AI-driven service availability control that proactively identifies and correlates incidents.

• You steer clients away from isolated thinking towards Service Mapping.

• You model critical business dependencies to lay the groundwork for accurate impact management and automated processes.

• As an early adopter, you assess new features such as Now Assist for ITOM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in ServiceNow consulting with a strong emphasis on ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping) and CMDB.

• Certified in CIS-Discovery and/or CIS-Event Management.

• A Service Mapping certification is highly advantageous.

• AI affinity: you possess initial experience with AIOps, machine learning models within ServiceNow, and the potential of generative AI (Now Assist).

• Robust understanding of the CSDM framework and business service architecture.

• Exceptional proficiency in patterns, the IRE, and Service Mapping.

• Proficient in managing event and correlation rules and modern Service Graph Connectors for integrating third-party systems.

• Industry experience: you are adept at engaging stakeholders in complex corporate settings while delivering practical implementations for mid-sized businesses.
