Senior Consultant, SAP Procurement/SAP Ariba (German)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• You will provide guidance and support to our clients in digitizing their procurement processes and assist in implementing them utilizing strategically central SAP technologies such as Next-Gen SAP Ariba.

• Collaborating with your team, you will enhance the client's end-to-end procurement processes.

• You will oversee (sub)projects aimed at transforming existing systems into a new SAP Ariba environment.

• In this capacity, you will manage the complete project lifecycle: from Fit-to-Standard analysis to crafting a roadmap and deploying the new system.

• As an innovator, you will anticipate our clients' needs and actively engage in the ongoing development of our team's offerings.

• You will utilize AI-assisted development tools in your daily tasks to boost productivity, enhance code quality, and create high-quality documentation that leads to robust and sustainable solutions.

• Your role will also involve positioning our consulting services in the market, identifying opportunities, and pursuing them with guidance from your coach.

• Collaborate with IT and business colleagues to devise solutions for specific challenges, occasionally leveraging existing solutions and systems.

• Cultivate professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of proposed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree along with over 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in management consulting.

• Experience in consulting on SAP implementation or optimization projects within the procurement domain.

• Ideally, you have led projects in an S/4HANA or Ariba setting.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following areas: SAP Ariba Guided Buying, SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management, and S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.

• A strong understanding of cross-functional procurement processes and experience with AI-assisted solutions, or a keen interest in developing such solutions.

• You demonstrate analytical and conceptual skills paired with an understanding of the feasibility of technical requirements.

• You take initiative to proactively advance topics and contribute to the team's growth.

• An eagerness to expand your expertise in other SAP solutions related to procurement in the future.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• A willingness to travel regularly to client sites as dictated by project needs.
