Principal Specialist, Commodity Management – Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement negotiation terms for the acquisition of goods, services, and supplies.

• Develop and execute Supply Chain strategies and sourcing initiatives to achieve organizational objectives.

• Set sourcing objectives and ensure that suppliers adhere to acceptable service levels and performance benchmarks.

• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other collaborators.

• Perform financial analyses by assessing price proposals, financial documents, and pertinent data to guarantee competitive pricing.

• Assess suppliers' capabilities, quality, reliability, and competitiveness to ensure compliance with company standards.

• Research and identify potential suppliers to fulfill company requirements regarding price, quality, timing, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a similar field with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• At least 3 years of experience with SAP procurement software or comparable ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement setting, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX, or PRISM.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier management, encompassing pricing, scheduling, terms and conditions definition, price analysis, and source selection.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
