Director, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to Integrated Facilities and Property Management clients and internal stakeholders focused on enhancing JLL managed services operations and sourcing strategies.

• Responsible for delivering insights regarding market, suppliers, and operational intelligence within service operations.

• Identify and lead suitable field resources to implement strategic initiatives.

• Act as a subject matter expert supporting JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.

• Collaborate closely with clients and the Jones Lang LaSalle Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to drive both immediate and long-term benefits for the client.

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals to execute strategic sourcing programs that align with client initiatives.

• Conduct periodic market trend analysis in specific categories, examining the supplier base, industry shifts, and more.

• Present analysis to Supply Chain and business stakeholders in a client-ready format.

• Accountable for the development, implementation, coordination, and communication of regional and national programs.

• Support and direct the Category Management team’s supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.

• Provide management, guidance, and follow-up to support operations teams in RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes.

• Proactively manage both internal and external customer expectations.

• Ensure adherence to JLL’s sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethical standards.

• Build relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standards or modifications and are formally reviewed and approved.

• Set work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues with Operations teams, temporary assistance, and/or project-specific personnel to ensure client satisfaction.

• Participate in and provide leadership during Preferred Supplier performance review meetings.

• Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives.

• Assist Solutions Development (Sales) proposals by constructing solution models and pricing.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university and/or 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or related fields; MBA preferred.

• Experience in project management and business transitions is preferred.

• Proficient PC skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
