Senior Consultant – Sage Intacct Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple projects and clients simultaneously, ensuring successful implementation by following our prescribed methodology, resulting in on-budget, on-time delivery, high customer satisfaction, and effective customer adoption.

• Execute all facets of the implementation process, which involves collaborative consultation with clients, defining requirements, designing solutions, configuring, conducting unit and integration testing, providing training, and managing data cleansing and migration.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of Sage Intacct software, including expertise in implementing and utilizing advanced modules, while staying up-to-date with the latest product features and enhancements.

• Configure and implement Sage Intacct software based on a comprehensive understanding of customer-specific business processes along with industry and system best practices.

• Develop and implement project plans for deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while maximizing return on investment.

• Utilize and develop less experienced implementation resources by providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring.

• Conduct training sessions for customer end-users across all levels of the organization, linking system functionality to business requirements.

• Document customer business requirements effectively into configurable software solutions and business management processes, employing best practices and visual process flowcharts.

• Address customer technical support issues related to system implementation.

• Design and create industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.

• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure effective project execution and completion.

• Provide prompt, concise, and friendly communication while delivering high-quality service and leadership to align with customer goals and expectations.

• Contribute to and utilize a knowledge repository of deployment best practices, enhancing tools and the repeatability of service delivery.

• Mentor Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects on processes, Sage Intacct modules, and project management.

• Act as an escalation point for project-related issues.

• Learn and develop through direct on-the-job coaching and participate in firm-wide learning and development initiatives.

• Leverage entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.

• Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, assisting associates in achieving their professional objectives.

• Participate in friendships, social activities, and team outings that promote a healthy work-life balance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Accounting, Business, or Management Information Systems.

• A minimum of three (3)+ years’ experience in consulting and implementing Sage Intacct, ERP/financial applications, and/or other SaaS solutions.

• Experience in consulting through the entire software delivery life cycle using a process-based methodology, or as an end user who has participated in a software implementation or upgrade.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.) is preferred for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data.

• Proven skills in time management, communication, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.

• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical capabilities, along with initiative and adaptability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
