Senior Consultant, Oracle HCM Talent and Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, configuration, and execution of Talent Management and Learning workstreams throughout complete lifecycle HCM implementations

• Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, performing fit/gap analysis, designing solutions, configuring systems, conducting testing (SIT/UAT), managing cutover, and providing post-go-live support

• Act as a functional subject matter expert for Oracle Talent modules and Oracle Learning

• Collaborate closely with HR, L&D, and business stakeholders to convert talent and learning strategies into scalable Oracle solutions

• Facilitate design workshops, oversee testing cycles, and address functional challenges

• Work together with cross-functional teams to guarantee integration with Core HR and other HCM modules

• Assist with reporting and analytics requirements, create documentation and training materials, and mentor junior team members


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience

• 3-5 years of experience in analyzing requirements, drafting functional specifications, executing tests, resolving issues, and interfacing with business users

• 1-2 years of experience managing project workstreams with minimal supervision

• Capacity to creatively solve complex problems with strong critical thinking abilities

• Excellent analytical skills combined with either a functional or technical background and practical experience with cloud-based enterprise solutions

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to clearly convey results and issues to both internal and client teams

• Willingness to travel up to 50% as necessary to engage with clients or other internal project teams

• Canadian citizenship is required for TN visa travel to the U.S. as needed.
