Senior Consultant, Openshift Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in creating scalable, well-managed solutions that are adaptable to technological advancements utilizing Red Hat technologies.

• Engage in continuous learning and development to acquire new skills and technologies.

• Travel weekly, from Monday to Thursday, to various client locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active Top Secret SCI clearance.

• Proven experience in delivering implementations based on architectural designs.

• Demonstrated capability to lead technical projects, including collaboration on project timelines and the maintenance of project and technical documentation.

• Ability to recognize stakeholder requirements and establish expectations regarding project timelines and scope of work.

• Experience in working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge and a strong desire to mentor others.

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or higher, in computer science or a related technical field.

• Relevant technical certifications such as Security+ and Network+.

• Proven experience in delivering successful consulting engagements on modern cloud platforms.

• Experience in Linux system administration, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or its variants.

• Prior experience with source code management tools such as GitLab.

• Familiarity with or working knowledge of Ansible.

• Experience with enterprise cloud solutions like Platform-as-a-Service.

• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.

• Basic understanding of networking principles such as TCP, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing is essential.

• Extensive technical experience with one or more virtualization and cloud technologies, including OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.

• Proven track record of serving in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives, with substantial experience presenting to C-level executives at large organizations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
