Senior Consultant – New Gas Fired Plant Build – Electrical, Power Generation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with the conceptual design and execution of capital projects for power plants.

• Act as the primary contact for owner’s engineer services for new power plant construction projects.

• Conduct electrical design, oversee capital projects, and select appropriate equipment.

• Assist in developing equipment specifications, managing vendor oversight, and facilitating commissioning processes.

• Convert project goals into actionable strategies that achieve or surpass schedule and budget expectations.

• Prepare for and facilitate client meetings and technical dialogues.

• Provide on-site support (approximately 15-20%) during project implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical preferred).

• 8-15+ years of experience in power plant electrical design, operations and maintenance, and capital project management.

• Proven technical proficiency in power plant electrical systems and preliminary design, with the capability to execute projects autonomously.
