Senior Consultant, Leadership Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive executive assessment processes for Private Equity and Venture Capital clients.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of all WittKieffer services, particularly in Leadership Advisory, to provide solutions that yield measurable client results.

• Oversee mid-sized leadership advisory projects and significant components within larger or more intricate engagements.

• Conduct and debrief high-stakes assessments for CEOs, boards, executive leadership teams, and senior executives.

• Consistently deliver top-quality work while proactively addressing delivery and client expectation challenges.

• Effectively delegate tasks and collaborate with associates and consultants, fostering their development and helping them achieve utilization targets.

• Identify client business requirements through confident questioning and attentive listening during client discussions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, investors, and board members.

• Clearly articulate and position the full range of Leadership Advisory services beyond one’s area of expertise.

• Assist in researching client and sector-specific business challenges to pinpoint additional opportunities for positive influence on our clients’ operations.

• Maintain and further develop a robust network of client relationships to comprehend their needs and uncover potential for expanded impact.

• Lead the development of proposals, encompassing scoping and pricing in line with Leadership Advisory standards for review and approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of postgraduate professional experience, with some background in management or organizational development consulting (preferably in an external capacity).

• Prior experience working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, along with an understanding of private equity dynamics, value creation expectations, and investor perspectives.

• Proven capability to create outstanding written materials and executive-level presentations.

• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

• Industry experience in at least one market, with a willingness to learn about others.
