Senior Consultant, LCA - SoFi/GaBi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leading or participating in multiple simultaneous consulting projects focused on LCA, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), or corporate sustainability strategies.

• Utilizing advanced tools such as our industry-leading GaBi software and its extensive database to develop top-tier life cycle models and inventories for products and services, alongside the Sphera Cloud Corporate Sustainability platform to guide client strategies and objectives.

• Engaging with industry-leading Fortune 500 clients.

• Presenting your findings through meetings, presentations, and other communication methods.

• Composing ISO 14040/44 compliant reports that detail your project activities.

• Creating and providing consultative sustainability services, advising clients to enhance their sustainability practices and minimize their environmental footprint, including strategies focused on net zero, climate, carbon, and ESG.

• Performing comprehensive analyses of clients' energy, water, waste, and emissions.

• Partnering with Sphera team members across various specialties and regions to innovate, establish best practices, and achieve exceptional results.

• Travel may be necessary as required on a project-by-project basis (up to 20% of time, primarily within the US, Canada, and Europe).

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a focused sustainability, ESG, or LCA role.

• Proven experience in direct interaction with a diverse group of external stakeholders.

• Strong enthusiasm for sustainability and innovation.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Experience with materiality assessments, Life Cycle Assessment, and Scope I, II, III emissions.

• Strong client and project management abilities to ensure projects meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

• Familiarity with GRI, CDP, SASB, TCFD, SBTi, and other sustainability and ESG frameworks.

• Ability to learn new software quickly, with prior experience using GaBi being a plus.

• Good verbal and written communication skills; capable of articulating issues, delivering presentations, and preparing formal written documentation.

• Self-driven and organized; able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
