Business Consultant, Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with retail executives and operational leaders to gain insight into business objectives, challenges, and potential opportunities.

• Facilitate discovery workshops with stakeholders from Supply Chain, Planning, Merchandising, Inventory Management, and Operations.

• Pinpoint operational gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Convert business challenges into actionable solution recommendations.

• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation process.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to outline solution scope and business value.

• Assist in solution design, business case development, and customer presentations.

• Aid customers in understanding how Onebeat addresses their operational challenges.

• Contribute to project planning and readiness for implementation.

• Partner with Implementation and Customer Success teams during onboarding and go-live phases.

• Support customers in adopting new processes and methodologies.

• Monitor adoption rates and identify risks that may impact business outcomes.

• Assist in executive business reviews and value discussions.

• Identify opportunities for expansion based on customer success.

• Advocate for the customer internally and provide feedback to Product and Leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in retail, preferably in merchandising or planning.

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, particularly when addressing senior and executive-level stakeholders.

• Capability to support client design and needs through practical execution.

• A motivated, driven mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.

• Hands-on individual contributor approach; this role is not for an executive or management position.

• Up to approximately 15 years of experience is welcomed.

• Experience in Retail Technology Consulting, Retail Software Implementation, Supply Chain Consulting, or Retail Transformation projects.

• Background with a software vendor, consulting firm, implementation partner, or system integrator serving retail clients.

• Experience leading customer discovery workshops, business assessments, or solution design engagements.

• Knowledge of inventory management, replenishment, allocation, merchandise planning, demand planning, supply chain, or retail operations.

• Fluent in Spanish.

• Good working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in the Fashion Retail or Apparel industry.

• Familiarity with Oracle Retail, SAP Retail, Blue Yonder, RELEX, Manhattan, ToolsGroup, o9, Kinaxis, Aptos, Infor, or similar systems.

• Experience in supporting inventory optimization, planning, replenishment, forecasting, or retail transformation initiatives.

• Experience working with enterprise retailers across LATAM.
