• Strategically plan, oversee, and manage the IT budget (CAPEX and OPEX) to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization while maintaining high service quality, performance, and sustainability of technology services.
• Implement and advocate for FinOps practices and governance in IT financial management.
• Prepare and monitor financial metrics, including budget versus actuals, forecasts, savings, and operational efficiency indicators.
• Oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts encompassing procurement, renewal, renegotiation, and termination.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure improved commercial terms, cost efficiencies, and enhanced service levels (SLAs).
• Conduct thorough reviews of existing contracts and suggest modifications aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, mitigate risks, and adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform technical and financial feasibility analyses for new technology solutions, weighing cost-benefit and operational efficiency.
• Assess technological optimization options, including cloud solutions, outsourcing, automation, tool rationalization, and replatforming.
• Spearhead optimization initiatives during contract renewal phases, ensuring a favorable balance between technical and economic models.
• Develop business cases for strategic IT projects, incorporating analyses of ROI, TCO, payback periods, and financial viability.
• Provide support to business areas and leadership in decision-making processes and advocate for strategic investments.
• Convert technical requirements into business value through structured analysis and performance metrics.
• Evaluate, audit, and drive continuous improvements in internal technology processes, ensuring alignment with frameworks like ITIL and COBIT.
• Define, monitor, and report on the area’s KPIs and OKRs, creating executive dashboards and performance evaluations.
• Engage consultatively with managers and stakeholders to enhance alignment between technology, operations, and business strategies.
• Cultivate a culture that emphasizes data, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in managing IT budgets, financial oversight, and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience in contract management, supplier negotiations, and monitoring SLAs.
• Familiarity with FinOps practices, financial governance, and IT sourcing/contracting frameworks.
• Experience in preparing business cases and conducting financial analyses such as ROI, TCO, payback, and forecasts.
• Knowledge of governance and service management frameworks like ITIL and COBIT.
• Skilled in defining and monitoring performance indicators (KPIs and OKRs).
• Strong analytical abilities for interpreting financial, operational, and strategic data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities across various functions and organizational levels.
• Consultative mindset with a focus on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and delivering business value.
• Preferably experienced in complex corporate environments and technology transformation initiatives.
