This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.
• Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and provide accurate information to students.
• Review and audit submitted files from the Financial Aid Counselors (FACs).
• Generate Award Letters and FASApp documents.
• Issue and manage award letters as necessary.
• Maintain and update the certified loan report.
• Complete the financial aid file after a student has successfully navigated the entire financial aid process.
• Assist students in securing funding through various available programs.
• Prepare, clarify, and provide applicants with the necessary documentation to facilitate informed decisions regarding financial aid.
• Analyze the timing of student funding.
• Appropriately update Salesforce in the financial aid section regarding funding scores and related information.
• Verify funding amounts and order funds as necessary.
• Participate in financial aid meetings and events.
• Download vouchers and confirm the funding of those vouchers.
• Scan, upload, and email vouchers as required.
• Send notifications to borrowers.
• Provide exit counseling to students.
• Conduct enrollment reporting and add new students to the NSLDS transfer monitor list.
• Perform various additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a financial aid position.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Compensation: $43-46K (hourly, non-exempt).
• Potential to work Saturdays to support deadline weeks.
