Financial and Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Prepare and present the monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS standards in a timely manner.

• Record and analyze the company's financial transactions.

• Ensure that accounting records and financial documentation are kept up to date.

• Oversee and ensure compliance with tax regulations as per the current legislation in Colombia.

• Evaluate and implement policies and processes related to internal controls.

• Supervise bank reconciliations and manage cash flows.

• Analyze and report on variances in accounting accounts.

• Review the electronic records of purchases and sales.

• Supervise the electronic payroll for tax declarations.

• Prepare the financial and management reports assigned to you.

• Plan and control the schedule for payments to suppliers.

• Participate, collaborate, and lead your team's involvement in internal and external audits.

• Foster a continuous learning and development environment for the team.

• Promote and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Public Accountant or Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management is desirable.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial statement reporting, consolidation, and preparation of financial statements.

• Solid knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and tax regulations in Colombia.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems and relevant financial tools.

• Intermediate English (ability to read documentation and regulations).

• Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, and effective communication.

• Proactive, responsible, and committed to achieving objectives.
