This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide expertise in cybersecurity for project tasks to guarantee quality services are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
• Support the project manager in defining and sequencing project tasks, estimating task durations, and creating a project schedule.
• Review project management plans to gain an understanding of the scope, schedule, and assigned work authorizations.
• Organize and schedule meetings with clients.
• Engage in meetings with clients and project teams.
• Assist with research and data analysis tasks.
• Create written documents, reports, and presentations.
• Formulate conclusions and recommendations, draft reports, and help with client presentations.
• Aid in delivering oral presentations to clients.
• Monitor and report hours dedicated to project execution.
• Collaborate with individuals across all levels, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving client needs.
• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables.
• Build relationships with current customers to support the development of new business opportunities.
• Involve in proposal development, including proposal writing.
• Represent ABS Consulting and engage in promoting our products and services.
• Take part in marketing initiatives, conference presentations, and technical whitepapers.
• Network to connect with potential new clients.
• Must be willing and able to travel 50% or more of the time as required to meet business needs.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Security Clearance is preferred.
• Capability to acquire, retain, understand, and convey knowledge to other team members.
• Ability to mentor and coach entry-level consultants, enhancing their technical skills.
• Proficient in actively listening to client needs.
• Ability to leverage established relationships and expertise with existing clients to foster new business development.
• Must comprehend departmental objectives and hold oneself and team members accountable for fulfilling commitments and maintaining high standards.
• Practical experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework and 800-53.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus or Security Center.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with Python or PowerShell programming languages.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
