This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Set up and enhance Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end operations.
• Assist with multiple simultaneous Epic and/or Meditech implementation or optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate existing workflows and propose Epic/Meditech-driven solutions.
• Create and test Epic and/or Meditech configurations, including Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, and Professional Billing.
• Facilitate end-user training sessions and create training documentation.
• Record technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with project teams, client personnel, and technical staff.
• Provide support during go-live events, including command center assistance and issue resolution.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues while liaising with vendor and internal technical teams as necessary.
• Aid in knowledge management and the documentation of best practices.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree is required (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or a related field).
• Over 4 years of experience in Epic/Meditech revenue cycle in roles involving implementation, optimization, or analysis.
• Practical configuration experience with Epic/Meditech revenue cycle applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials) revenue cycle functions.
• Experience with at least one complete Epic/Meditech implementation or a significant optimization project.
• Strong understanding of Epic revenue cycle applications, including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and/or Revenue Guardian, as well as Meditech Expanse and Meditech Dream.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Epic/Meditech reporting and analytics tools.
• Capability to configure Epic/Meditech workflows, rules, and system settings.
