This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guidehouse is actively looking for financial management experts to support our Department of Defense client.
• These professionals will offer a wide array of expertise in financial management, accounting, auditing, internal controls, and financial policy.
• Our Guidehouse team will deliver: Financial audit statements and services for audit readiness.
• Assistance with the Department of War's financial statement audit remediation, sustainment strategy, execution, oversight, reporting, and audit infrastructure.
• This includes support for the Enterprise Audit Remediation/Sustainment Strategy, Oversight and Reporting, Audit Remediation/Sustainment Strategy, Governance Meeting Content Development, Governance Communication Content Development, Recurring FIAR Reporting Audit Remediation, Department-wide Remediation Support, and Remediation Expertise Support for the Audit Remediation and Sustainment Working Group Meetings.
• Must be capable of OBTAINING and MAINTAINING a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates are required to achieve approved adjudication of clearance prior to joining Guidehouse.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least FIVE (5) years of experience in supporting government financial management, including financial statement audits, audit readiness, remediation, and Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR).
• Familiarity with GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD financial management policies, procedures, and organizational structures is essential.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following areas is necessary: General Equipment, Inventory, Real Property, Intergovernmental Transactions (AP/AR), or Operation and Maintenance Support (OM&S).
