Senior Consultant – Epic Report Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake, scoping, and documentation of clinical research data requests.

• Translate clinical and research requirements into technical specifications.

• Create, develop, and sustain data assets for research purposes.

• Compose, test, and enhance SQL queries.

• Administer and fulfill data requests within established parameters.

• Detect and address data issues, and validate new data sources.

• Perform on-demand data analysis to aid research and informed decision-making.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science or technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience working with healthcare data in Epic Clarity or Caboodle EHR data warehouses.

• More than 5 years of experience using standardized clinical coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, UMLS).

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare reporting or biomedical research.

• Advanced SQL programming expertise with over 5 years of experience.

• Proficiency in data mapping, terminology management, and documentation.
