Senior Consultant, EHRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate evaluation efforts and data-informed decision-making processes.

• Establish success metrics, monitor performance, and assist in the execution of evaluation frameworks.

• Act as the project manager for designated workstreams, ensuring team alignment, tracking dependencies, and driving project execution.

• Plan and implement work within a scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.

• Create features and user stories, maintain the health of the backlog, facilitate PI Planning and sprint reviews, and manage carryover and inter-team dependencies.

• Develop, validate, and sustain performance metrics and operational dashboards.

• Convert ticket, workflow, and facility-level data into actionable insights for leadership.

• Contribute across evaluation, engagement, training, and operational functions.

• Create visually engaging presentations and supporting materials that comply with client branding and style guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with project leads, trainers, and facilitators to clarify messaging objectives and refine content based on stakeholder feedback.

• Ensure that materials fulfill learning objectives and meet end-user education and behavior reinforcement requirements.

• Facilitate working sessions, office hours, and cross-team forums with clinical, informatics, and technical partners.

• Provide briefings to senior stakeholders directly.

• Produce executive-ready Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), Certificates of Achievement (COAs), concepts of operations, project plans, strategic plans, business rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and leadership presentations.

• Manage tight deadlines and independently prioritize tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• At least 6 years of consulting experience.

• Ideally, experience with top-tier management consulting or federal advisory firms.

• Preferably, experience supporting federal clients or large-scale process implementation, training, or communication initiatives.

• Additional preference for experience with EHR, EHRM, or clinical health.

• SAFe Agile certification is strongly preferred, such as SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, or SAFe Program Consultant.

• Familiarity with Jira, Jira Align, Mural, and similar management tools.

• Ideally, experience with VA, VHA, or DoD and the Federal Electronic Health Record (FEHR).

• Familiarity with VistA/CPRS, Oracle Health, and VHA governance and escalation frameworks.

• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to create charts, trackers, and data-driven presentations without dedicated design or analyst support.

• Strong research and synthesis abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for general audiences.

• Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong organizational capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust suitability determination.

• Residence in the Washington, DC metro area is preferred.
