This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

• Conduct forensic accounting analyses in matters related to family law and matrimonial disputes.

• Examine personal and business financial documents, which include bank statements, general ledgers, tax returns, and QuickBooks files.

• Trace income, expenditures, assets, and liabilities, while identifying any potential hidden or dissipated assets.

• Prepare analyses related to lifestyle, income, net worth, and cash flow reconstructions.

• Assist with business valuation assignments.

• Create expert reports, schedules, exhibits, and other materials to support litigation.

• Aid directors in discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.

• Keep workpapers organized and adhere to court and litigation timelines.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting, particularly with a strong focus on family law.

• Experience in supporting litigation and serving as an expert witness.

• Solid understanding of:

• o Equitable distribution.

• o Income available for support.

• o Tracing separate versus marital property.

• o Business owner compensation analysis.

• o Cash flow and lifestyle analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and financial analysis software.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.

• Capability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

• Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

• CPA; CFF, CVA, CDFA, or CFE designation is strongly preferred or actively being pursued.

• Experience with business valuation assignments.
