This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide guidance and implement cloud-based solutions utilizing various cloud platforms and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Offer project and technical direction to the team.
• Ensure that the solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
• Conduct evaluations and offer recommendations for solution adoption and migration.
• Create and maintain documentation and best practices.
• Stay informed on the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Execute comprehensive cloud solutions that align with business goals, taking into account scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Confirm that cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data protection, encryption, access control, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver expert-level client materials including architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation guides for project architecture deliverables.
• Lead engagement teams, assign tasks, and mentor fellow consultants.
• Participate in the sales process by assisting with technical whiteboards, defining project scopes, and creating sales materials and presentations.
• Review technical documentation and sales materials for accuracy and technical correctness.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT consulting, data center IT management, or design.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or Azure DevOps for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
• Relevant experience with Azure Backups, Azure Site Recovery, and general disaster recovery/high availability best practices, or similar for other cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting technical information clearly and concisely.
• Project management capabilities to lead and coordinate cloud implementation projects, ensuring they remain on schedule and within scope.
• At least one certification such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, etc.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Azure certifications including Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Familiarity with core Microsoft Azure services and capabilities, emphasizing the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework, and Azure Networking with third-party appliances.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of serverless computing architectures and services such as Azure Functions.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based big data and analytics services, including SQL Data Warehouse and Databricks.
• Experience with platform technologies such as Azure Local, Nutanix, VMware, or related technologies.
