This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Develop and sustain applications based on AWS, with an emphasis on IVR and telephony systems.
• Create robust IVR solutions that incorporate effective failure management, retries, and fallback strategies.
• Oversee AWS infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Design and implement APIs to facilitate smooth IVR workflows.
• Model and retrieve data using DynamoDB to enhance application functionality.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve application performance and reliability.
• 5–6 years of experience in developing applications on AWS, particularly in IVR and telephony systems.
• Extensive experience with Amazon Connect, including Contact Flows, Queues, Routing Profiles, and Hours of Operation.
• Proven ability to build resilient IVR solutions with effective failure management, retries, and fallback mechanisms.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code practices utilizing Terraform, including modular coding, environment management, and deployments.
• Expertise in AWS Lambda (Node.js or Python) and serverless architecture patterns.
• Experience in designing and integrating APIs for IVR workflows.
• Strong background in data modeling and access patterns with DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Amazon Lex or similar conversational bot integrations.
• Comprehensive understanding of distributed system behaviors, including timeouts, retries, and partial failures.
• Experience with secure configuration practices using AWS Secrets Manager and/or Parameter Store.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and debugging using CloudWatch or comparable tools.
