This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the tools utilized by Cloud Services for managing tasks related to vulnerability remediation.
• Address SIEM and FIM alerts while collaborating with the Information Security team on Identity Protection and Exposure Management initiatives.
• Offer tactical support for compliance with regulatory requirements (SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual servers.
• Administer backup systems and execute system restoration processes.
• Develop disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage technologies that facilitate vulnerability scanning, cloud solutions, and data loss prevention.
• Maintain systems associated with endpoint detection and response (EDR) and identity and access management.
• Adhere to security policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee compliance.
• Actively participate in assessments and audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities and propose remediation measures.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate controls and best practices into our systems and applications.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of awareness and best practices.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve decision-making, enhance efficiency, and achieve measurable business outcomes when applicable.
• Exercise sound judgment and uphold ethical standards in the application of AI, ensuring accuracy, data privacy, and responsible human oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cloud systems, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 4 years of experience in a cloud service-related role or in development with a solid background as an information security analyst or similar position.
• Practical knowledge of technologies such as vulnerability scanning, cloud solutions, SIEM, IDS/IPS, file integrity monitoring, data loss prevention, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of assessing complex systems and identifying security concerns.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while effectively prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
