• Create and modify infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) to provision and manage cloud resources in a reliable and repeatable manner.
• Monitor platform health, address alerts, and participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enhance the developer experience and improve deployment reliability.
• Contribute to the documentation of platform services, runbooks, and architectural decisions.
• Engage in code and design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback as a fundamental aspect of the team's development culture.
• Work collaboratively with product engineering teams to help them comprehend and effectively use platform services.
• Recognize and highlight technical issues, bugs, or opportunities for improvement — while you don't need to resolve everything independently, you should communicate when something is amiss.
• Seek opportunities to streamline workflows through AI or automation tools (e.g., document summarization, task routing, or data parsing).
• Identify repetitive tasks and collaborate with team leads to implement scalable automation solutions.
• A mission-driven mindset with a genuine interest in leveraging technology to enhance healthcare outcomes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Some practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) — gained through internships, personal projects, coursework, or early career roles.
• Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Basic understanding of networking, compute, and storage concepts within a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and experience working in a collaborative development setting.
• Strong communication capabilities and a readiness to seek assistance, share learning experiences, and collaboratively resolve challenges with your team.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a growth mindset — eager to learn and receptive to feedback.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar).
• Basic experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts or tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar).
• Exposure to healthcare technology, HL7/FHIR standards, or experience working with sensitive regulated data.
• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or similar).
• Comfort in using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools) to enhance daily workflows.
• A forward-thinking, inquisitive mindset with a willingness to experiment with new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with sound judgment and creativity in crafting solutions.
• Proven capability to excel in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first setting, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
• Willingness to travel periodically for work-related purposes.
• Receive competitive compensation including health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
