Senior Consultant – Business & Process Consulting, Migration Projects, Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conducting business analysis and providing support for migration and transition projects within the banking sector.

• Managing processes: capturing and analyzing current-state workflows (framework), modeling and assessing them, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing efficient target-state processes.

• Performing data analysis using Excel and SQL queries.

• Preparing functional and business requirements for the bank's product areas.

• Developing and refining interfaces from the core banking system to solution providers by creating interface and mapping documentation.

• Designing and implementing business and IT conceptual frameworks for all financial services products.

• Planning and executing regression and acceptance testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in (business) informatics/computer science, business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in the financial services sector, preferably in the areas outlined above.

• Proven experience in executing and supporting process management projects.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar projects.

• Professional ability to present complex interrelations clearly and persuasively.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and communication skills, along with a solid ability for abstraction.

• Flexibility, commitment, teamwork, and a willingness to pursue professional development.

• Proficiency in German and very good English skills.

• Willingness to travel within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
