This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Act as a pivotal catalyst for lean transformation and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Serve as an internal consultant leveraging expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
• Evaluate existing practices to uncover opportunities for scalable enhancements.
• Implement strategies that improve capacity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and project teams across various functions.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics.
• Relay progress updates from operators to executive leadership.
• Provide training and mentorship to colleagues.
• Drive change and nurture a culture of continuous improvement.
• Plan, execute, and manage Lean or Six Sigma process improvement initiatives.
• Diagram and assess current processes.
• Create process measurement metrics and pinpoint future improvement opportunities.
• Gather data to determine root causes of issues.
• Evaluate performance against process requirements and align improvements with identified shortfalls.
• Advise on re-engineering techniques to enhance process performance and product quality.
• Present training sessions and workshops on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
• Research and analyze best practices.
• Communicate progress made by teams.
• Conduct cost and benefit analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience.
• Over 3 years of focused experience in Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence implementation.
• Proven experience leading transactional and business process improvement initiatives across various functions.
• Advanced Lean or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Black Belt, Master Black Belt).
• Prior consulting experience in operational excellence or process transformation.
• Successful track record in leading projects within highly regulated industries.
• Proficient in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Minitab.
• Change management certification or substantial experience with organizational change initiatives.
• Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.
• Experience in developing and delivering Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement training.
• Multilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, due to international travel and collaboration across borders.
• Knowledgeable about digital transformation, Industry 4.0, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Proven history of mentoring or coaching process improvement professionals.
• Experience in succession planning and talent development.
• Strong financial acumen, including expertise in cost/benefit analysis and budget management.
• High adaptability and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree fulfilling 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment for roles below the Principal level.
