Senior Consultant, Boomi Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement integrations utilizing the Boomi Integration Platform.

• Create and sustain integrations between enterprise systems such as NetSuite, SAP, D365, Workday, or Salesforce, as well as other third-party applications.

• Engage in development with the REST Client connector.

• Have a strong understanding of the Boomi Enterprise Platform, encompassing Integration, APIM, DataHub, and AgentStudio.

• Architect and execute scalable integration workflows and reusable components leveraging tools like REST APIs, message queues, and various cloud-based solutions.

• Conduct data mapping, transformation, and validation using Boomi tools.

• Oversee integrations and resolve production issues.

• Implement adequate logging, error handling, and performance enhancements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather integration requirements and deliver solutions, while also supporting code reviews and task delegation to team members.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes and APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise application integration.

• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in Boomi development.

• Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end Boomi integration projects.

• Familiarity with working in enterprise integration environments that involve hybrid cloud and on-premise systems.

• Experience in leading integration workstreams and mentoring junior developers.

• Background in conducting code reviews, managing deployments, and providing production support.

• Expertise in defining integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.

• Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project managers.

• Knowledge of integration monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.

• Experience in supporting production environments with SLA-driven support models.

• Ability to estimate integration effort and contribute to technical solution design.

• Prior consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.
