This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the comprehensive configuration and deployment of Xactly Incent, which includes designing compensation plans, establishing quotas, crediting rules, and calculating commission payouts.
• Tailor Compensation Rules to accommodate intricate commission structures, such as tiered payouts, accelerators, draws, and recoveries, based on specific business requirements from clients.
• Configure and administer participant hierarchies, team frameworks, and territory assignments, ensuring precise tracking of compensation.
• Develop and uphold calculation formulas, including base pay, bonuses, and multi-variable commissions, utilizing Xactly’s Calculation Engine.
• Manage the credit assignment process, which includes distributing credits among multiple participants or roles and guaranteeing accurate credit allocation to sales activities.
• Set up and oversee Plan Documents and Participant Statements to ensure clarity and transparency in commission reporting.
• Execute data loading and integration from various input sources (e.g., CRM data from Salesforce, ERP systems, or manual files) through Xactly's Connect integration tool.
• Carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify the system's functionality and ensure the accuracy of calculations.
• Establish and manage dispute workflows, providing users with options to contest commissions while ensuring proper audit trails are maintained.
• Create and configure Xactly Analytics dashboards and custom reports to furnish clients with real-time insights into performance metrics, incentive payouts, and sales effectiveness.
• Design advanced reporting frameworks to monitor key metrics, such as quota attainment, sales by product, compensation by territory, and team performance.
• Leverage Xactly Analytics' data visualization tools to craft and present user-friendly charts and graphs that showcase vital insights for executives and sales leaders.
• Set up custom calculation logic for reporting purposes, incorporating aggregate functions like year-over-year comparisons, trend analysis, and commission forecasting.
• Implement role-based security in Xactly Analytics to ensure appropriate data access controls, facilitating varying levels of visibility for stakeholders (e.g., sales representatives, managers, and executives).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a software development or systems analyst position.
• Must be adept with emerging technologies, willing to learn new software, comprehend a data model and an object model, write SQL queries, and prepare design specifications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• 3-5 years of experience with the implementation of Xactly Incent and Xactly Analytics.
• Understanding of software development and implementation life cycles.
• Experience with major relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Proficient in configuring Xactly Incent, including:
• Compensation Plan Design: Structuring and configuring incentive compensation plans, defining quotas, crediting rules, and payout methods.
• Participant Management: Establishing and managing user hierarchies, teams, roles, and permissions.
• Calculation Engine: Creating custom formulas and managing complex calculation rules (e.g., weighted commissions, bonuses).
• Plan Document Automation: Configuring automated and customizable participant statements and documents.
• Quota Management: Setting up and managing quota-setting processes.
• Expertise in configuring and reporting with Xactly Analytics:
• Advanced Data Modeling: Designing and configuring custom reports and dashboards.
• Complex Report Building: Crafting performance dashboards that aggregate sales data and compensation metrics.
• Familiarity with the following technologies is seen as an asset:
• Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, Xactly, Varicent.
• Web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, and HTML.
• BI Cognos reporting.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
