• Oversee the comprehensive configuration and implementation of Xactly Incent, which includes designing compensation plans, establishing quotas, crediting rules, and calculating commission payouts.
• Tailor Compensation Rules to accommodate intricate commission structures, such as tiered payouts, accelerators, draws, and recoveries, based on the specific business needs of clients.
• Configure and oversee participant hierarchies, team structures, and territory assignments to ensure precise tracking of compensation.
• Develop and uphold calculation formulas for base pay, bonuses, and multi-variable commissions using Xactly’s Calculation Engine.
• Manage the credit assignment process, which includes distributing credits among multiple participants or roles and ensuring correct credit allocation to sales activities.
• Set up and manage Plan Documents and Participant Statements to guarantee transparency and clarity in commission reporting.
• Execute data loading and integration from various input sources (such as CRM data from Salesforce, ERP systems, or manual files) using Xactly's Connect integration tool.
• Carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify system functionality and ensure precision in calculations.
• Establish and manage dispute workflows, offering users avenues to contest commissions while maintaining proper audit trails.
• Create and configure Xactly Analytics dashboards and custom reports to deliver clients real-time visibility into performance metrics, incentive payouts, and sales effectiveness.
• Construct advanced reporting frameworks to monitor essential metrics, including quota attainment, sales by product, compensation by territory, and team performance.
• Leverage Xactly Analytics' data visualization tools to craft and present intuitive charts and graphs that emphasize key insights for executives and sales leaders.
• Configure custom calculation logic for reporting objectives, including aggregate functions such as year-over-year comparisons, trend analysis, and commission forecasting.
• Implement role-based security within Xactly Analytics to ensure appropriate data access controls, allowing varying levels of visibility for different stakeholders (e.g., sales representatives, managers, and executives).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a software development or systems analyst capacity.
• Must be adept with emerging technologies, quick to learn new software, comprehend data models and object models, write SQL queries, and create design specifications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• 3-5 years of experience with the implementation of Xactly Incent and Xactly Analytics.
• Understanding of software development and implementation life cycles.
• Familiarity with major relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Proficient in the configuration of Xactly Incent, which includes:
• Compensation Plan Design: Structuring and configuring incentive compensation plans, defining quotas, crediting rules, and payout methods.
• Participant Management: Setting up and managing user hierarchies, teams, roles, and permissions.
• Calculation Engine: Creating custom formulas and managing complex calculation rules (e.g., weighted commissions, bonuses).
• Plan Document Automation: Configuring participant statements and documents that are automated and customizable.
• Quota Management: Setting up and managing processes for quota-setting.
• Expertise in configuring and reporting with Xactly Analytics:
• Advanced Data Modeling: Designing and configuring custom reports and dashboards.
• Complex Report Building: Developing performance dashboards that aggregate sales data and compensation metrics.
• Knowledge of the following technologies is considered beneficial:
• Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, Xactly, Varicent.
• Web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, and HTML.
• BI Cognos reporting.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
