Senior Consultant – AI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and develop reusable applications and accelerators powered by AI.

• Convert business and product needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Establish patterns for prompt orchestration, agent workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool integration, and enterprise connectivity.

• Construct production-level AI applications, copilots, assistants, and workflow automation systems.

• Oversee the development of reusable AI components.

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate use cases into implementable solutions.

• Assess and integrate commercial LLMs through APIs.

• Formulate robust prompt strategies, context management logic, tool usage patterns, and fallback protocols.

• Specify coding standards, deployment practices, logging, monitoring, guardrails, and evaluation procedures.

• Act as the technical lead for AI engineering initiatives.

• Mentor and support the AI Developer / GenAI Engineer.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams including product, architecture, delivery, QA, and operations.

• Engage in discovery sessions with business and delivery teams to pinpoint opportunities for AI implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background in software engineering.

• Proven experience in developing AI/LLM-powered applications.

• Familiarity with APIs from OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / Anthropic / Google or similar platforms.

• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.

• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, chunking, and retrieval strategies.

• Knowledge of orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and secure integrations.

• Experience with prompt engineering, evaluation, and debugging AI applications.

• Ability to design scalable, reusable systems.

• Preferred: Experience with enterprise SaaS ecosystems like Salesforce / Oracle / Microsoft.

• Familiarity with agentic workflows.

• Experience with observability and evaluation platforms.

• Background in consulting or product-based delivery organizations.

• Awareness of AI governance, data privacy, and model risk factors.
