Senior Construction Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver independent construction risk advisory and due diligence services for financial institutions.

• Examine construction drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, contracts, and project documentation.

• Oversee construction loan monitoring and reporting processes.

• Perform regular site inspections and assess construction progress.

• Evaluate contractor payment applications, subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, change orders, and contingency utilization.

• Cultivate relationships and represent Altus as a reliable advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in construction, development, consulting, or contracting sectors.

• Several years of practical experience in supervising, managing, consulting on, or assessing construction projects.

• Comprehensive understanding of project delivery, construction methodologies, project controls, budgets, schedules, and contracts.

• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, and documentation with confidence.

• Ability to assess project budgets, payment applications, change orders, and supporting documents to identify potential risks.

• Effective communication skills with lenders, developers, contractors, and project teams.

• Ability to excel in a remote work environment with independence and strong organizational skills.
