Senior Compliance Specialist, Supply Chain Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Perform reviews of purchase order files

• Create training materials

• Execute process enhancements that add value

• Carry out internal audits of purchase orders, purchasing processes, and related documentation

• Prepare and oversee customer flow-down documents for suppliers

• Maintain precise procurement records in the company's ERP system

• Oversee internal audits and formulate corrective action strategies

• Review and revise company command media policies and procedures

• Collaborate with Contracts and buyers to pinpoint custom contract flow-down clauses and store them in Cincom and CostPoint ERP systems

• Offer training and support to procurement personnel

• Recognize opportunities for process improvements and apply procurement best practices

• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant compliance experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of prior related compliance experience

• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant compliance experience in lieu of a degree

• Comprehensive understanding of government contract and procurement principles, including the capability to research regulatory requirements

• Strong expertise in government contract and procurement principles, particularly those outlined in FAR, DFARS, and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)

• Ability to investigate regulatory requirements of customer contracts

• Experience working within a CPSR approved system

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities within a structured corporate setting

• Willingness to travel approximately 10%
